Danbury is the highest village in Essex — the church sits on top of a 350-ft ridge that runs east from Chelmsford, surrounded by Danbury Common, Danbury Park and Lingwood Common. Beautiful place. Also a brutal place to keep a house clean. The tree cover is permanent and the moisture sits longer up there than down in the valley.
What that means in practice: gutters block faster, roof tiles green up quicker, and any north-facing render or brick collects algae year-round. Most Danbury properties we look after get a twice-yearly gutter clear and a low pressure clean roof refresh every 3–4 years rather than every 5–7 like we'd recommend elsewhere. Detached homes with mature gardens often need proper reach kit too — deionised poles to 12m, not stepladders.
6 miles east of our Chelmsford base, just down the A414. No call-out charge, no deposit, fixed price — you pay only when the job's done and you've seen the photos.

“We are delighted to have found Jordan as having trusted, reliable and highly skilled tradespeople is so important. Now we are working regularly with him having initially requested a full exterior clean of our property and our buildings which he did to a very good standard. He’s also a really nice lad which is always handy! Would highly recommend”

“What a great clean! The poor lads had to deal with at least a years worth of uncleaned windows! They’re perfect! - and Jordan checked over once done to make sure the job was done properly- 10/10”

“Windows are sparkling. Thank you 😊”

“Great prompt friendly service. My house now looks amazingly clean. It’s the white surrounds and sills being cleaned with the windows that makes all the difference. Soffits and Fascias done too so all looks great. Many thanks”

Yes. Deionised poles reach up to 12 metres — safely covers most of the larger detached homes round Danbury. We don't use ladders on standard window cleaning. For roof and gutter work we use a SkyVac that operates from the ground too.
Honestly, no — if you've got mature trees around the house (most of Danbury does), nothing will stop the leaves. What works is a proper SkyVac clear in late November once they've all dropped, and a second light clear in spring. Two visits a year usually keeps things flowing and works out cheaper than guards plus maintenance.
Yes. Heavy moss and algae are very common up on the ridge here because of the damp under the tree canopy. We low pressure clean with a biocide that kills it on contact — no pressure on the tiles, no granule loss. Most of the green falls off naturally over the next 6–12 months of rain.
No. As long as we can get round the back, we crack on and send before/after photos through when we leave. Most Danbury customers pay by bank transfer after the job's done — no card, no cash, no chasing.
Form, phone or WhatsApp — whichever's easier. We'll reply the same day, usually inside the hour.
One price, no extras at the end. Take your time deciding.
On the day we agreed, in uniform, with everything we need. You don't have to be home if you'd rather not be.
We walk it together at the end, or send photos if you're out. Anything not right, we sort it before we go.
