Who are you?

Jordan Hewitt — ex-British Parachute Regiment, born and raised in Essex. Hewitt’s Exterior Cleaning is the company. Same face every visit, no subcontractors.

Are you fully insured?

Yes. £5 million public liability cover. Proof of cover is sent alongside every written quote.

What areas do you cover?

All of mid-Essex from a Chelmsford / South Woodham Ferrers base — Basildon, Chelmsford, Rayleigh, Wickford, Maldon, Burnham-on-Crouch, Hullbridge, Danbury and another dozen villages in between. See the full coverage map.

Booking

How do I book?

Easiest: call 07551 840117 or WhatsApp the same number. A quote comes back inside the hour. You can also fill in the form on the contact page.

How quickly can you come out?

Most new jobs are on-site within the same week. Urgent work (blocked gutters, a leak, a roof shedding tiles) gets slotted in within a couple of days where we can.

Do I need to be home?

No. We just need reasonable access — an unlocked side gate and a path to the work. We’ll send before/after photos through when we leave.

What about bad weather?

We work in light rain — deionised water keeps cleaning. In heavy rain, high wind or ice we’ll move you to the next safe day at no charge.

Pricing

How much will it cost?

Depends on the property. As a guide: a 3-bed semi window clean is £15–25 a visit; gutters £65–120; full house pressure wash from £250. Send your postcode and a couple of photos for a fixed written quote inside the hour.

Do you charge a deposit?

Never. You pay when the job’s done and you’re happy with it.

How do I pay?

Bank transfer or card after the job. Details come on the invoice we send by email or text.

The work itself

What equipment do you use?

Long pole reach deionised poles for windows, frames and conservatory glass. SkyVac gutter vacuums for blocked gutters (with a camera-tipped pole). Low pressure clean for roofs and render. The right kit for the surface, not just one tool.

Will the water leave streaks?

No. We use deionised deionised water through carbon and DI filters — it dries spot-free, no detergents.

Is it safe on conservatory glass and roof seals?

Yes. Soft-bristle brush, deionised water, no high pressure. We clean conservatories, leaded windows and Velux roof windows the same way.

After the job

What if I’m not happy?

Tell us within 7 days and we’ll come back and re-do whatever you’re not satisfied with, free of charge. If you’re still not happy we don’t charge for the original visit.

Do you offer regular rounds?

Yes — monthly or 8-weekly for windows. Same price every visit, text the night before so you know we’re coming, photos sent when we’re done.
